Saqib graduated with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and currently works at two of our school locations. He has a passion for musculoskeletal physiotherapy and sports rehabilitation. Originally from Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, Saqib spent three years working as a Lead Physiotherapist, treating musculoskeletal injuries and working in sports settings, including with football and cricket teams.

Having always been around sport himself, Saqib understands that rehab is about more than just getting out of pain, it’s about getting back to the things that make you, you. His approach combines clinical reasoning, hands-on treatment and progressive exercise to help people build confidence in their movement and return to what they love doing.

Football is his number one sport, but basketball, hockey, table tennis and cricket are all firmly in the mix. Saqib joined PhysioAction recently and is enjoying the move from Abu Dhabi to Auckland, bringing his experience and a genuine love of sport into the clinic.
